Our School Day
We welcome our families with a warm embrace as each Key Stage has its own entrance where a member of the team will greet them.
Early Years Foundation Stage children enter the school through gates on the Trinity Street and go straight into their rooms.
Key Stage 1 use the entrance from the main playground nearest to the kitchen.
Year 5 and 6 also enter from the main playground and head straight upstairs to their corridor.
Year 3 and 4 enter via the doors opposite the main entrance to school.
Our day begins in a safe, calm way as children can ‘trickle’ in from 8:45. Each class has their special greetings when they are coming into class.

The morning session finishes at 11:40am.
Lunch is 11:40-12:20pm.
The afternoon session begins at 12:20pm.
The day ends at 3:20pm.
Snacks are also given at specific times for the morning and afternoon sessions. Breaks are given throughout the day as needed in a separate outdoor area.

Breaks are given throughout the day as needed in a separate outdoor area and in the main playground when the children are settled. Morning snacks are also given each day.

Morning break is 10:15-10:30am. (Fruit and milk).
Lunch is between 12:00 and 1:00pm.
Afternoon break is 2:05-2:20pm.
The day ends at 3:20pm.
